Lazy Me

LOL I have to start out this way because the title suits me so well at times.  I have been lazy, I made one post for this blog then stopped.  But it has been for personal reasons, not because I forgot about my blog.  On an upside though, my mother won a trip to games three and four of the World Series from State Farm Insurance. She and my brother had a blast.

I am trying a few new items from Bzzagent, Meijers new photo options, Purdue oven ready chicken and private selection item form Krogers.  I will definitely post more on those soon.

Recently I found out that no matter how long you have been out of nursing school you can take state boards.  I went to school 10 years ago for LPN, and am just now re-studying to take my exam.  Not as easy as I thought it would be, but fortunately my local library has study books for the NCLEX.  I am studying out of my mom's old books and the borrowed ones.  I am back in the field as a home Health Aide and realizing what a mistake I made my denying the career I chose so ling ago.

So hopefully I'll be able to get that new tattoo I want soon.

Meijer Mounted Photos

I recently joined the meijer Mounted Photo campaign through bzzagent.  I received a coupon for a free mounted 5x7 available for one hour pick up.. I was pretty excited( I get excited about free stuff). Ian and I picked out our picture and went to the in store kiosk.  It took us a couple tries but we figured it out, then went and did our shopping.  We went back to the photo center in and hour, but our picture wasn't waiting for us.  The guy at the counter,(who was covering a break) didn't realize it was a mounted photo, not a five by seven.  So disappointed, we left the store and returned the next day, our picture was mounted, but had tiny hairline scratches on it!  So now we're waiting again, for a new copy of it, hopefully without scratches.  The woman at the counter, has been super friendly throughout this whole experience I must admit.  I will definitely go back for gifts, 

In January of 2007 I had my second child, my son Lucas, my daughter Audrey had just turned 6, and I was a stay at home mom.  I was looking for a way to budget our money better.  My mother is always getting free stuff online, she wins contest all the time gets tons of samples everything.  One of the things she was doing was a program called bzzagent.  Bzz agent is a word of mouth program, which means that they want you to talk to people about what they wnat you to try.  I have been in 54 campaigns to date, ranging from food to make up to dental to automotive, to website, to well, you name it.  I have handed out coupons and sample, had parties, I even got a small grocery store to carry a new item.  I tell bzzagent about all of it, because thats how they collect data for the companies that hire them.  I get rewarded for doing this.  I get points for mypoints.com, and then get to spend them on the gift certificate of my choosing.  All you have to do is talk and then type.  I love it.
